Work Experience

West Yorkshire Police : 2002 Onwards

West Yorkshire Police are the fourth largest Police Force in England and Wales, the IT Department supports over 11,000 users and 6,500 workstations providing 24/7 support 365 days a year.

Senior Computer Officer - microsoft sql database administrator

  • Recruit, motivate and develop staff within the team to provide them with clear direction to properly support the IT systems of the Force
  • Maintain, manage and support the applications and infrastructure to meet customer expectations, SLA and performance targets
  • Focusing on customer service and delivery, investigate problems, identify root causes and wherever possible develop automated solutions, leading/participating in problem solving teams to prevent reoccurrence.
